One of the most coveted experiences of legendary illusionist David Blaine was to practice his notoriously famous breath holding ability, underwater in the wild alongside great white sharks. In the collaborative film “Dressed for Dinner”, menswear connoisseur Adam Kimmel dressed Blaine in his finest formalwear and the two journeyed to the remote island of Gudalupe, a destination reachable only by a 24-hour boat ride. Accompanied by a film crew, the week-long excursion would submerge Blaine over 40 feet deep in the water surrounded by great whites as large as 20 feet in length. The footage forgoes special effects and other refinements to realistically portray the unique endeavor.
