Origami-Inspired Ori Lamp by Lukas Dahlén

Discover the very beautiful creations of the Swedish designer Lukas Dahlén.
After experimenting with paper and watching origami instructional films, designer Lukas Dahlen managed to understand the technique and construct a pattern of his own resulting in the sheet metal Ori Pendant Lamp, a little wink to the pretty “Ori For Lamps”, superb suspension in geometric style inspired by folding. The metal is cut with photo-etching, which also cuts halfway through the sheet to create the creases for the folding.

A different pattern is used for each side of the sheet to allow the metal to fold in the desired direction.A lampshade that reflects the light downwards with a light coloured by the golden brass.
Offered in three colors black, white or light tan, each with a gilded interior.
