The iconic BR01 Aviation collection is directly inspired by the instrumentation of aircraft cockpits and addresses four fundamental requirements : legibility, functionality, precision and water-resistance. Bell&Ross innovates introducing new models year after year. In 2013 Bell&Ross updates their venerable Aviation Collection watches with three new pieces honoring the aircraft of yesteryear. The Bell and Ross BR01 Aviation Collection now features the Airspeed, Climb and Heading watches, inspired by three common dials from inside the cockpit.
The BR01 HEADING watch is inspired by heading instrumentation, a compass which shows the shape of the aircraft in the center of the watch dial.
The BR01 AIRSPEED takes the shape and color guide of an aircraft speedometer and re-imagines it for a modern timepiece.
Finally, the BR01-97 CLIMB watch replicates an aircraft variometer which originally displayed the speed at which an aircraft climbs or descends.
With this new trio, taking inspiration from the skies, Bell&Ross recreates the graffic style of navigation instruments as closely as possible, once again beyond the traditional to reading time. They’re a necessity for the lover of aviation– and a perfect fit for the lover of design.
Water resistant up to 100 meters, all of the watches are encased in 46mm Black PVD steel casement with a sapphire crystal dial.
The all-new Aviation trio are set to be released in a limited edition of 999 pieces only.
