A new capsule collection designed in collaboration with the 60s sunniest supergroup brings California cool to Vilebrequin’s St. Tropez-born styles.
Surfin’ St. Tropez! Out last fall, Vilebrequin and The Beach Boys present a new capsule collection inspired by the laid-back seaside lifestyle beloved by both—and a tribute to the incredible legacy of the group behind classics like “California Girls,” “I Get Around,” and “God Only Knows.”
The Beach Boys is the legendary sixties group synonymous with the sound of summer. And who better to help celebrate 60 years of sun, fun, and good times with your tribe than Vilebrequin, the French brand that single-handedly brought coastal cool to the shores of St. Tropez? Known as “the gem of the Riviera,” it was here in 1971 that Fred Prysquel founded Vilebrequin, his ode to the surfer styles he’d spotted while traveling along the West Coast.
Set in sunset hues and feelgood tropical prints, the collection captures the anything goes free spirit that brought both sixties Cali culture and St. Tropez’s golden age to life.
The exclusive collection for men but also for women and children features shorts, hoodies, beachwear, and other essentials for year-round good vibrations: Think Vilebrequin’s iconic swimsuits splashed with sea turtles, surfboards, and swaying palms; plaid print shirts and retrotype hoodies as irresistible as a Beach Boys harmony; sea-inspired shades of blue made for catching eyes, waves, or both.
