OMEGA ambassador and Olympic legend Michael Phelps joined the brand in Crans-Montana at the Crans-sur-Sierre Golf Club on Wednesday to participate in the Credit Suisse Gold Pro-Am tournament with last year’s champion Richie Ramsay and President of OMEGA Stephen Urquhart.
Before teeing-off, Michael Phelps held a press conference at the golf club with international media. He also took time to visit the OMEGA Boutique and OMEGA Hospitality Tent and enjoyed a tour of the alpine village.
Describing the location of the tournament, Michael Phelps said, “Golf has become one of my more serious pastimes and playing on this course in the week of the OMEGA European Masters in Crans-Montana surrounded by incredible views of the Alps is definitely an experience I won’t forget. The setting is impressive and I can understand why golfers love this course so much.”
